　7月は、夏野菜が実りを迎える収穫の季節であり、同時に子どもたちが自然とふれあい、たくましく成長する貴重な時期でもあります。NPO法人AICCが運営する「子ども食堂」では、今月もさまざまな体験活動を通して、子どもたちの笑顔があふれる時間を提供しました。

この7月、子どもたちは併設の「子ども農園」で、夏野菜の成長を観察したり、サツマイモの畑に水をやったり（灌溉の初体験）と、実際に土に触れながら農作業を体験しました。収穫期を迎えた野菜を自分たちの手で収穫する喜びは、日々の食の大切さや自然の恵みに感謝する気持ちを育みます。強い日差しの中での作業は大変でしたが、その分、達成感と満足感はひとしお。自然との共生、そして努力の尊さを学ぶ貴重な機会となりました。

　また、今回は農業体験に加え、「プログラミング学習」も実施。ICT教育にも力を入れているAICCでは、子どもたちが未来の社会に必要なスキルを楽しく学べるよう、遊び感覚での学びを取り入れています。汗を流して畑で体を動かした後は、冷房の効いた室内で集中してコンピュータに向かうというメリハリのある時間を過ごしました。

　さらに、子どもたちが心待ちにしていた「流しそうめん」も開催！清らかな井戸水を使って流れるそうめんを、笑顔で追いかけながら夢中になって食べる子どもたちの姿が印象的でした。暑い夏の日だからこそ感じられる涼やかなひととき、プール遊びとナイタープールも併せて行い、猛暑の中でも涼しさと楽しさを満喫できる、夏ならではの思い出がたくさん生まれました。

　AICCの子ども食堂では、単なる食事提供にとどまらず、「学び」「遊び」「体験」を通じて、地域の子どもたち一人ひとりの可能性を引き出す取り組みを続けています。今後も四季折々の自然を生かした体験を提供しながら、子どもたちの成長を温かく見守っていきます。

Little Farmers Unite! Big Harvests & Happy Hearts at the Kids’ Garden! 🍠👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

July is a season of both vibrant summer harvests and sweltering heat. At AICC’s “Children’s “Global Children’s Dining Hall,”,” this month was filled with hands-on activities that helped children grow stronger—both physically and mentally—through real-world experiences with nature, technology, and community.

In the Children’s Farm, kids took care of the crops by irrigating sweet potato fields, observing the growth of vegetables, and finally harvesting the summer produce themselves. These moments under the scorching sun weren’t just fun—they helped the children appreciate the effort behind food production and the blessings of nature.

We also introduced a beginner-friendly programming session, giving children a chance to explore digital skills in a playful and engaging environment. After working hard outdoors, they enjoyed the comfort of an air-conditioned room while learning the basics of coding—a perfect balance between physical activity and intellectual curiosity.

One of the highlights of the month was our “Nagashi Somen” (flowing noodle) event, which the children had eagerly anticipated. Using clean spring water, long bamboo slides carried somen noodles for the kids to catch with their chopsticks—an exciting, cool way to beat the summer heat. Alongside that, we set up kiddie pools for water play, turning the day into a refreshing summer festival.

At AICC, our Children’s Cafeteria is more than a place to eat—it’s a community space where children learn, grow, and experience the world. By connecting food, nature, education, and fun, we continue to create meaningful opportunities for the next generation. 七月是盛夏时节，也是各种蔬菜成熟收获的季节。在这个充满阳光与挑战的月份，AICC法人运营的“儿童食堂”组织了一系列充满教育意义与乐趣的活动，让孩子们在亲近自然的过程中茁壮成长。

　在“儿童农园”中，孩子们亲手给地里的红薯浇水、初次体验了灌溉，观察蔬菜的成长过程，并亲自采摘成熟的夏季蔬菜。通过实际的农耕体验，他们不仅体会到大自然的恩赐，也学会了珍惜食物和劳动的成果。尽管烈日炎炎，但孩子们在挥汗如雨中收获了喜悦与成就感。

此外，本月还特别安排了“编程课程”，让孩子们在轻松愉快的氛围中接触科技，培养他们的逻辑思维与创造力。在农田上奔跑之后，走进凉爽的室内课堂，孩子们转而投入到电脑前，度过了一段别样充实的时光。

孩子们最期待的“流动素面”活动也如期举行！清凉的井水中流淌的素面，让孩子们兴奋不已。大家围坐在竹槽边，眼明手快地夹取面条，笑声不断。此外，还开展了戏水活动，让孩子们在酷暑中尽享“清凉”的快乐，度过了一个难忘的夏日时光。

AICC的“儿童食堂”不仅仅是一个提供营养餐食的地方，更是一个寓教于乐、连接自然、启发思维的成长空间。我们将持续举办四季不同的体验活动，为每一位孩子的成长保驾护航。欢迎更多家庭与我们一同参与，共建充满温情与希望的社区。

Petits fermiers réunis : grande récolte de joie au jardin des enfants ! 🍠👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

Le mois de juillet est synonyme de chaleur estivale, mais aussi de récoltes abondantes dans les potagers. À la « Cantine des Enfants » gérée par l’association AICC, ce mois a été riche en découvertes, apprentissages et moments de joie pour les enfants.

Dans notre jardin pédagogique, les enfants ont arrosé les champs de patates douces, observé la croissance des légumes et participé à la récolte des légumes d'été. Ces expériences concrètes leur ont permis de mieux comprendre l’importance de la nature, du travail agricole, et de la gratitude envers ce que nous mangeons. Sous le soleil brûlant, les efforts se sont transformés en fierté et en sourires.

En complément des activités extérieures, les enfants ont aussi eu l’occasion de découvrir le monde de la programmation. Grâce à une initiation ludique à l’informatique, ils ont pu exercer leur créativité et développer leur logique, dans une ambiance agréable et stimulante.

L’un des moments les plus attendus fut notre événement « Nagashi Somen », une tradition japonaise où des nouilles froides glissent dans des gouttières en bambou remplies d’eau fraîche. Les enfants se sont amusés à les attraper avec leurs baguettes, tout en riant et partageant ce moment unique. Des jeux d’eau avec des piscines ont également apporté une dose de fraîcheur bien méritée.

La Cantine des Enfants d’AICC ne se limite pas à offrir des repas équilibrés. C’est un lieu d’apprentissage, de partage et de découverte où chaque activité est pensée pour nourrir le cœur, le corps et l’esprit des enfants.
